KC Universal Coding

"Wildfire Acre Containment Calculator" by Kris Caballero

First published program written in C! Here it is: the true original wildfire acre containment calculating program, after recreating this program in Python and Fortran. This is the program that calculates user input of acres affected, percentage contained, and outputting average of acres contained so far.

This is the first version—v1.00—release.

Purpose

Reason for this program is giving researchers, statisticians, and/or number crunchers of all kinds a program that easily calculates numbers without continually using one's calculator (mathematical formula has been entered). Data taken from MSN Weather website: https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/maps/wildfire/in-Los-Angeles,CA.

Directions

Zip file contains both the Windows executable and original source code, plus README.txt file. If on Mac, Linux, or other operating system, compile original source code via gcc. Run on your terminal of choice to use. Program loops repeatedly until user types 'q' to quit.
