First published program written in Python! This program, with the help of matplotlib, simply displays box scores for all 32 NFL teams in the 2025-2026 season. It outputs bar graphs along with the team's logo in the background; also includes the team's average score overall; and prints out team's highest score of the season, including what week, along with their lowest score. Scores entered and displayed on this program show Week 01 to Week 18; the preseason, postseason, and Super Bowl, scores are not included.
This is the first version—v1.00—release.
The purpose of this program is simply display the entirety of an NFL team's scores, graphically. A team's success, or struggles, exude a different perspective when the data is visualized.
All scores have been taken and found on NFL.com; credits go to Chris Creamer's SportsLogos.NET. Thank you to both!
Works best using the Anaconda package—run the command python path/to/script.py after installation.
Download, unzip file, then run the main-plot.py file on Anaconda. To view other team's graphs, use any text editor of your choice, then uncomment the three-block code near bottom of program. Be sure both .txt and .png files are in the same directory before running.
