Originally crafted back in August 13, 2024, in response to extreme weather during the summers, Kris Caballero composed this simple program calculating the average acres contained from wildfires. Using user input to enter, then print out its overall calculation, this program also allows continuing its use or quitting. A simple command-line program calculating all kinds of wildfire research.
This is the first version—v1.00—release.
Purpose of this program is to provide a simple calculation, without re-entering the entire formula, with basic user input. Because this program implements a loop, it can be used repeatedly. Done as a supplement to wildfire/enviromental research—big and small.
Data taken and tested from MSN's wildfire map (https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/maps/wildfire/in-Los-Angeles,CA)
Works best using the Anaconda package—run the command python path/to/script.py after installation.
Download, unzip file, then run the main-plot.py file on Anaconda. To view other team's graphs, use any text editor of your choice, then uncomment the three-block code near bottom of program. Be sure both .txt and .png files are in the same directory before running.
